Ideas
Flicker-flow my mind

Suggestions
Ideas
Broil
Half-baked
Within its febrile cauldron

Magnetic impulses
Stir the mix
Threatening to connect
But rarely touching

Intuition sparks
But does not flame
Promise flat-lined

So many false dawns
So few horizons reached
Dawn’s promise
Resolved in mediocrity

  1. Ahh …Roland, I shall try again and see if this goes past the moderators in the sky.

    I worry about this cauldron, it will soon overheat. Just keep writing the magnetic
    impulses and intuitions down. A spark will light – as it did in this poem which
    had me laughing. ” Resolved in mediocrity” – indeed. I do not agree. 😊.
